I invite you to get acquainted with one of the most important ingredients in Sotukai – Lithuanian berry and fruit powder from Urbanfood.
I discovered this powder a few years ago and used it to enrich breakfast smoothies and to flavour desserts. It is an incredibly valuable product, as 1 teaspoon provides the same amount of valuable vitamins, minerals, and fibre as 100 grams of fresh produce. Of course, the natural taste, colour, and aroma are also guaranteed.
One of the reasons for creating Sotukai was the desire to make a family-friendly and tasty snack that could contain as many health-friendly ingredients as possible. The prerequisite was that it had to be a non-perishable and convenient snack for travelling. With Urbanfood powder at hand, the first plant balls in different flavours and colours were born out of experimentation.
I currently use blackcurrant, raspberry, sea buckthorn, and quince powders in my Sotukai. However, chokeberries, rosehips, and cranberries are already on the shelf waiting for experimentation.
Of course, I am delighted that both Urbanfood and Sotukai products are labelled with the health food symbol “Keyhole”.
I wish you to taste, experiment, and be healthy!
